    Co-founder & CEO

    Stephen has 15+ years of leadership in strategy, corporate venturing and management. He started his career teaching at Harvard before joining The Boston Consulting Group, where he built web businesses for Fortune 500 companies. Hired by a pre-IPO client, he formed its first corporate development team, managed several investments and led two turnarounds before starting his own company. He lives with three elementary math learners.

    One of the world's top mobile developers, MJ has several top grossing apps to his name, including recent global #1 Spy Vs. Spy. A leading light in Canadian tech, he has also built five companies and sold two of them (first at age 28). He has been named one of Calgary’s Top 40 Under 40, one of Alberta’s 50 Most Influential People, and a 2012 Leader of Tomorrow. He also lives with three elementary math learners.

    Brent has been a math teacher, education researcher, and 'teacher of teachers' for over 30 years. Since earning his Ph.D. at the University of Alberta, his research has focused on understanding and disseminating learning techniques used by the world’s best math teachers. Brent has held several distinguished research chairs including his current post at the University of Calgary. He has worked with countless elementary math learners.
