Consumers struggle to make informed buying choices for outdoor experiences due to a disjointed industry and an inefficient sale process. Guides prefer to be outside, and tend to underinvest in marketing. GuideHire offers a trusted destination for consumers to book outdoor activities. We operate via a simple model by which we charge guides a 10% transaction fee. Since its launch on 5/1/15, GuideHire has attracted ~300 guides and ~3,000 users.
