Prior to founding GHI, John-Randall had an internship with J. Craig Venter Institute assisting with the development of microbial fuel cells for the Navy. In 2012 he Co-Founded Earth Starter LLC which developed sustainable garden products. In 2013 he won the Under Armour-sponsored Cupid’s Cup entrepreneurship competition.
