Green Built will be first to market with nationally certified, code compliant, mold, pest, and fire resistant hemp-lime products that combine a toxin- and chemical-free indoor environment with good thermal performance. We are focused on developing an efficient, regional supply chain. Working with our technology partners, our standardized products will allow builders and developers to cost-effectively use our materials in their projects.

  • Founder/CEO

    Jim Savage founded Green Built after two decades on Wall Street, where he was known for his work as a supply chain equity analyst, and was an II All-American and WSJ Best on the Street analyst. He led a multi-industry research team prior to forming Savage Capital, LLC, a Supply Chain-centered equity portfolio. He has built Green Built's key strategic relationships as the company prepares for its commercial launch.

  • Business Development/Technical Marketing, Deep Energy Retrofits for Mass Masonry

    Currently owner of Gaia Sharbel Energy, focusing on energy resilience, building performance, and sustainable energy solutions. He is a Building Performance Institute Building Scientist, certified in shell and building analysis. A heating professional, Luis is preparing for additional multifamily and Heat Pump certifications.

  • Construction Manager

    Karsten has many years of experience restoring historic buildings in the Hudson Valley. As CEO of Bristlecone Restoration, he has developed a reputation for managing complex restoration projects that include the repair of lime-based mortars and the preservation of brick and stone masonry.

  • Marketing and Supply Chain Analyst

    A graduate of Michigan State University, Ahmed has coordinated contractor/supplier relations, developed marketing strategies, and analyzed production data in order to achieve process improvement.

    Nancy is an attorney and editor, experienced in structuring and negotiating contracts and knowledgeable about intellectual property issues.

  • Chris Magwood
    Sustainable Building Consultant

    Chris is the Executive Director of The Endeavour Centre, a not-for-profit sustainable building school in Peterborough, Ontatrio. An experienced builder and designer of sustainable buildings, he has also written numerous books and articles. He is a Series Editor of New Society Publishing’s Sustainable Building Essentials Series, and the author of Essential Hempcrete Construction.
