Gooroo is a mobile app service that lets students book tutors through a convenient booking process. We describe ourselves as the Airbnb for tutors.

We take 25% of every transaction. The commission we take from the tutor decreases as they build their profiles, but we are able to maintain a 25% commission structure by taking a premium from the student for highly sought after tutors. (similar to a surge charge during busy hours on Uber)
