Company Summary

Media is propagating negative images, and it is having a systemically negative impact on society. Goodspotting seeks to become the global social media platform for social reform through sharing of images and videos on the company’s web-based and mobile-based applications. The target demographics of individual users include females between the ages of 18 to 34 with the desire to impress upon change and companies who target the same demographics.

    Founder

    Joyce Lee is a certified project manager with lean six-sigma training. With both national and international exposure gained from companies such as Xerox, Johnson & Johnson, and Bell Canada, she will bring her corporate experience to Goodspotting. She was awarded with the Ryerson Centre Leadership Award in 2008. She is currently pursuing her Master of Business, Entrepreneurship, and Technology from the University of Waterloo.

  • Ignatius David
    Operations Manager

    Ignatius David has over six years of experience primarily in Operations, including over two years in managerial roles. His process driven experience will accelerate the growth of Goodspotting. He has a Bachelors in Applied Science in Mechatronics Engineering from the University of Waterloo, and is currently a candidate for the Master of Business, Entrepreneurship, and Technology.

  • Joe Lee
    Market Research Manager

    Joe Lee is a market researcher with extensive experience working for companies in not-for-profits. He was awarded the A.B. Blankenship Award in 2010 for his achievements. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto and is a Certified Marketing Research Professional. He is currently pursuing his Master of Business, Entrepreneurship, and Technology from the University of Waterloo.

  • Mariam Olagunju
    Marketing and Sales Manager

    Mariam is a certified inbound marketing specialist with an eye for being inventive. Mariam graduated from the University of Toronto with a degree in Digital Enterprise Management. She was awarded a certificate of recognition from the university. Mariam is currently pursuing a Masters of Business, Entrepreneurship, and Technology degree from the University of Waterloo and is progressively taking steps to grow as an active entrepreneur.
