We design, manufacture, and sell SunSprite, which helps patients self-manage depression by effectively using bright light therapy. SunSprite consists of a wearable light tracker connected to a mobile app that provides real-time feedback to improve patients’ adherence and outcomes.   • B.A., Ph.D. Harvard. Edward Likovich has a technology background in experimental semiconductor physics and wrote his PhD thesis on novel methods of light emission and collection. Ed then worked for several years at J.P. Morgan in NYC, where he supervised a 9 person team developing a trading platform for clients. The product was successfully launched and handles more than $1 billion per day.

    Kasey Russell

    CTO and Co-Founder

    B.A. Harvard, Ph.D. Harvard. Before joining GoodLux, Kasey obtained a PhD from Harvard in light physics, and then spent several years at Harvard as a research scientist. He has a 14 year career as a published researcher, focusing on the intersection of semiconductor electronics and light.

    Mirena has worked with more than a dozen early-stage companies in operations, sales, and marketing roles. Companies she's worked with include Incentive Targeting (sold to Google), Interwise (sold to AT&T), Oberon Software (sold to OnDisplay), Open Market (went public). She is also experienced in larger company operations, having held a management role in the technology practice executive team of the global, public agency, Weber Shandwick.
