We developed an easy to use Do-it-yourself (DIY) kits that are affordable but give accurate result to detect HIV Virus. Any untrained person can process whole blood from a fingerstick. The sample can be collected anywhere in the world for immediate point-of-care testing. Users do not require any training to operate. Filtering, mixing, diluting, and preserving usually performed by lab technician not a problem anymore.

Chris became the head of the household and caretaker of his siblings at the ripe old age of seven years an experience that was a foundation to his leadership abilities.

    CTO

    Anwaar is a recent UC Berkeley graduate with a Bachelors of Science in Bioengineering. She has been a researcher at the UC Berkeley Molecular Cell Biomechanics Laboratory since early 2010, and was invited to present her work at the 2011 Biomedical Engineering Society Conference in Hartford, CN. Her academic and research experiences have allowed her to develop an interest in the translation of biomedical research into novel clinical applications.
