Company Summary

We made EquationLab; innovative software for desktop, tablet and mobile which makes it easy for people to learn equation skills and carry out calculations. In schools, this speeds up learning in maths and physics, builds pupil engagement and drives up attainment. Our global education customers are teachers, parents and students. We also have the potential to reduce risks, liabilities and training costs that arise from low workplace numeracy.

    Robert in the entrepreneurial leader. Robert developed the idea for EquationLab as a result of work in the classroom, teacher training and research into numeracy skills shortages in the NHS. Robert is a Chartered Physics Teacher in James Gillespie’s High School and has 14 years classroom experience. He has also worked for BP for 5 years on solar technology R&D in London and Sydney and run his own environmental consultancy practice for 7 years.

  • Paul Golz
    Dr

    Lead software developer. He has been software lead in 2 successful companies; DEM Solutions and educational software company, Crocodile Clips. He has worked on projects for NASA, CERN and de Beers. Paul is currently senior lecturer in software and mobile app development in the business school at Worcester University. He has a double 1st in Physics and Theoretical Physics from Cambridge and a PhD computational physics from Edinburgh University.
