Successfully constructed and operated mini-farm pilot facility starting in 2009. Developed product mix, branding strategy and positioning that opened and nourished customer relationships with clients such as Whole Foods, Cisco and other high-end restaurants and food service distributors.

Founded and operated CMT Blues, international garment manufacturing business from 1991 to 2003. Had three factories: Honduras (1,200 employees); Mexico (200 employees); San Diego (150 employees).

In 1996 pioneered Joint Venture Program with state of California Department of Corrections under proposition 91 allowing private sector business to operate inside prisons and employ prison labor. Took company from inception to $42M valuation.
