Mr. Olsen is a life science executive and strategic consultant with a career that has grown out of R&D at Clinical Micro Sensors, Motorola, and Osmetech. He has been responsible for multi-million dollar budgets leading to the launch of award-winning in vitro diagnostic systems and is an inventor on patents covering signal processing, microfluidics, and DNA hybridization arrays. He holds degrees in chemistry from Caltech and UC Berkeley.

Dr. Rublee is a Professor of Biology with UNC Greensboro whose research uses molecular tools to address ecological questions in aquatic microbial ecology. An inventor of the company’s founding technologies, he earned his PhD at NC State University, has held postdoctoral positions at the University of Miami and the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center, and was elected to be a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.

Ms. Jackson is a finance executive whose efforts have focused on early-stage technology, life science, and medical device ventures. She has been full-time and part-time CFO for several firms, including mobile technology company AFK Interactive where she was part of the founding team and integral to strategic planning, operational planning, and the securing of seed funding. She holds a BBA in Accounting from James Madison University.
