Gerrit worked on private yachts for 9 years.He work himself up to first officer. Where he was in charge of multi million dollar yachts. He ran crew of up to 15 with budgets of up to 500 000 dollar a month.He was dealing with the most powerful men in the world and learnt a lot from them. Biggest project he has done was to build a 66 meter yachts with a budget of 110 million dollar in 2010. The yacht was launched with not a cent spent over budget.
