The Gift of Spanish is a music-based Spanish curriculum for children age 2-7. Bilingualism has many cognitive and practical benefits for kids and society. 2/3 of children worldwide are bilingual, but the US lags. Music-based curriculums optimize efficacy and cognitive benefits in this age group. Our customers are children aged 2-7 and their families. English-based preschools looking to offer 2nd-languages are another trusted channel to moms/home.

  • Susy Dorn
    Founder and CEO

    Susy Dorn is a musician, performer and puppeteer with fourteen years of experience working with children. She has recorded 6 cds, 5 DVDs, and produced many books for children in Spanish. Susy has a degree in Early Childhood Education from the Universidad Catolica de Lima-Peru.

  • Christopher Dorn

    Chris is the in house techie. With a background in computer support, Chris does everything from designing and maintaining the website and registration system to videography, animating, editing and producing CDs, DVDs and books for children. Chris enjoys helping his wife touch the lives of so many children with his creativity and technical knowhow.

  • Eugenie Rosenthal

    Eugenie Rosenthal, Founded and Directed Let's Get Ready, the largest network of student-run college access programs in the U.S. She has worked in marketing for Hewlett Packard. She earned her BA from Harvard College and MBA from Stanford. She has a 3-year old daughter who adores Let's Play in Spanish.

  • Reshma Karipineni

    Reshma Karipineni has a background in investments and marketing. She was Director of Marketing for Spa One, a membership-based day spa in Tucson. Reshma was an Associate in venture capital and at a hedge fund, where she focused on biotechnology. Reshma received her BS from Yale and her MBA from Stanford. She and her 2 toddlers were introduced to LPIS by Eugenie Rosenthal.
