Plato, founded in August of 2017, is a mobile encyclopedia made by the whole world. The company is led by its founder, Alpha Barry, and his co-founder, Sahnun Mohamud. We believe that as technologies like AR, AI, and Mobile converge in the coming years, industry incumbents such as Britannica and Wikipedia are ill equipped to prosper. That's why we decided to build Plato. Our mission is to liberate and augment all human knowledge.

    Alpha founded his first startup, Baazarr.com, in college. Baazarr was essentially an Ebay for college campuses. After graduating college, Alpha has been working as a designer on a freelance basis. His background is in product design. He is now working on Plato full time.
