Company Summary

Genome Surveillance, LLC, is in a process to develop and commercialize the “scaffold sequencing” technology. The challenges that the "scaffold sequencing" technology is addressing in the DNA sequencing world are: i. to accurately assemble de novo genome sequences using next-generation sequencing short reads; ii. to detect long range genomic structure variations, and phase haplotypic variants; iii. to sort out individual genomes in microbial metagenome and plant polyploidy genome next-generation sequencing data; and iv. to rapidly genotype for molecular diagnosis of diseases to improve human health and for the identification of genomic trait variants in agriculture. Our future products will include instruments and associated consumables, software and services. As ~80% of current genome sequencing projects needs help from our “scaffold sequencing” system, we believe that our “scaffold sequencing” system will become one of the main DNA sequencing platforms in near future.
