Lawrence has over 20 years as a senior executive primarily in the energy sector ranging from commercial & financial advisory, business management, project management, consulting, strategy, reform. regulatory, policy, risk, business planning and operations. He is a recognized leader in the sector and he is a member of the Infrastructure Partnership Australia Energy and Sustainability Taskforce.

Desmond started research at MIT in 2002 (10 years of research experience) and is a recognized expert in complex systems engineering and synthetic biology.
