Gecko Landmarks is a spin-off from Tramigo, a best-selling tracking device provider for emerging markets. Now Gecko is in the process to fully commercialize its global landmark data and develop landmark based mobile applications to stimulate demand for landmark data in emerging countries. Chipset and mobile phone companies are the main target customers. Traditional maps are not used in emerging countries but landmarks are understood by everyone.
