Dr. Elizabeth O'Byrne (PhD Biochemistry): Our in-house biochemist and just as importantly helping to ensure strict adherence to laboratory grade conditions throughout production, she has over 30 years research in Pharmaceutical Industry in isolation/purification/characterization of biologically active macro-molecules, development of assays for bio-markers in circulation and mechanistic in vivo models for testing treatment candidates.

Naomi Smukler is a board certified Anesthesiologist. She completed her undergraduate training at the University of Michigan during which time she developed an interest in both Eastern as well as Western medicine. Her studies included coursework exploring alternate therapies to our current pain management strategies including the use of Reiki as well as medical marijuana.

With over 30 years of experience in drug development, Karen has extensive knowledge of the discovery process. Karen began her career conducting basic research where she explored novel modes of drug delivery. She later moved to clinical research where she worked in the cardiovascular therapeutic area conducting trials in hypertension, angina, and congestive heart failure.

Jonathan has been a practicing anesthesiologist for the past 27 years. Following medical school at the Pennsylvania State University he trained in Anesthesiology at Hahnemann University and completed a fellowship at the Virginia Mason Hospital in Seattle. Dr. Abrams has been in private practice at Overlook Medical Center in Summit, NJ as the Director. His interests include the use of regional anesthesia to minimize use of opioids.
