Jim GundersonChief Technology Officer
Jim has a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Virginia. While completing his doctorate, he was part of the management team for a high tech start-up from 1999 to 2003 that developed an ultra-cold robotic storage system for medical samples. The start-up company hired Jim to guide the development of the robotic system. The company brought the product to market, and was acquired by a leading innovator in the sample management industry.

Mark VappiDirector of Operations
Mark was enticed away from his position with Microsoft corporation, and assumed the role of director of operations. Mark has over 30 years of experience in organizing and running complex projects ranging from commercial construction to Microsoft’s on-line services billing site. His background includes executive positions at Petry-Vappi construction an software development management positions at Quark and Microsoft.

Pam GheysarDirector of Marketing
Pamela has over 20 years experience in systems administration and cross-platform integration. Her background includes disaster recovery planning and testing, risk management, user education and training, and contract negotiation with an emphasis on bridging the gap between technology and the people who use it. She is our liaison to the outside world; coordinating robot appearances, vendor relations and community event participation.

Brian brings 20 years of building and managing successful sales teams in security and telecom to Vigilant Robots. His previous experience includes VP of sales for a manufacturer of fiberoptic intrusion detection systems. Brian has led sales efforts of numerous companies in the security industry.
