GameSparks is a cloud-based platform for games developers to help them build the server-side features of their games and then manage their games as a service post launch. Bootstrapped by three founders since January 2013, it raised €630k of seed funding in August 2013 and launched in the same month. Response has been strongly positive - 30+ customers are registered to the platform and a strong pipeline is emerging.

    Spent the 15 years prior to founding Gamesparks at BSkyB (television) and News International (publishing) in senior roles overseeing digital strategy and products including, most significantly, the online TV portfolio at Sky.

    Co-Founder, CTO

    One of the leading technical architects worldwide in online tv, having been the CTO at ioko for the past 12 years. Ioko are a global leader in the provision of IP video solutions to major broadcasters, with a client list that includes Sky, ITV, Channel4, Disney, AT&T, Liberty Global and RTE, amongst others. Enjoyed a successful exit when ioko was sold to KIT Digital for US$100m in 2011.

    Co-Founder, CMO

    Spent 12 years as CMO of ioko alongside Gabriel. He grew annual sales from $4m to >$70m as he establishing the business in the UK before leading the expansion of the company overseas. As with Gabriel, enjoyed a successful exit when ioko was sold to KIT Digital.
