GajaCash was born when we realized how expensive it was for the Sri Lankan diaspora to repatriate money (foreign remittances) back to their families in their home country and wanted to find a cheaper way to do it. It was inspired by the ease of money movement he experienced while in the USA via services like Zelle, Wise, CashApp, ZCash etc. We aim to use decentralized leger technology to do the same for cash based transactions.
