Company Summary
Full Sun Co is a new Northeast regional purchaser, processor & marketer of specialty oilseed crops from family farms. Organic & non-gmo soybeans, sunflower & canola are expeller-pressed in our Vermont mill into edible oils and sold to chefs & food processors under the Full Sun® brand. Oilseed meal from the press is sold to local farms & feed dealers. 2% of revenues & biodiesel (made by others from our used oil) goes back to our Vermont growers

Netaka has been at the forefront of developing Vermont’s oilcrop infrastructure & commercial biodiesel markets since 2003, and directed the Bioenergy Program at VT Sustainable Jobs Fund. For 10 years before that, Netaka ran a natural products manufacturing business with an international clientele. His considerable agriculture, product development, manufacturing and entrepreneurial experience has prepared him to direct operations at Full Sun

David W McManusCo-founder & Head of Sales
Starting in 1987, David spent 11 years in a principal role developing and launching Applegate Farms’ line of Natural/Organic Meats where he co-managed day-to-day operations and then became National Sales Manager, leading the company’s US expansion to what is now a $150+ million business. More recently David has been in charge of energy & efficiency projects, and now brings his management experience to Full Sun to lead sales and marketing

Stephen H LullaFinancial Oversight
Steve holds an MBA from NYU’s Stern School of Business and was a Managing Director, Chief Financial Officer & Senior Research Analyst for Arklow Capital, LLC; a $90MM Long/Short Equity Fund. From 2003-2008 he served as the CFO & Research Analyst for Mallet Capital Management, LLC, a $180MM investment fund. He’s started several successful businesses & now works closely with Full Sun providing ongoing financial oversight

Chris Callahan, PEEngineering and Technical Design
Chris holds an MBA and BSME from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute & is an Extension Agricultural Engineer at the University of Vermont. His work focuses on enhancing Vermont's food systems - supporting the analysis, design, evaluation & adoption of infrastructure & equipment that meets the needs of relatively small-scale food producers & processors. He works closely with Full Sun in the design & development of their oil processing systems
