Company Summary

Freshfully is the winner of the 2011 Incubate!(bang) new business competition. Our goal is to make fresh, local food more affordable and accessible to more people and share info about sources for finding local food.

We're currently enrolling farm, CSA, farmers' market, and manufacturing partners who want to sell their products online, beginning with businesses in Birmingham, Alabama.

We expect to launch our site in November, 2011.

    Jen is a web marketing and content strategist with an MBA in marketing & innovation. Her primary interest is in new online product development and execution.

    Her fields of expertise include grocery marketing and women's lifestyle content. She has 20 years of experience.

    CTO

    Web designer, developer, and interactive specialist focusing on usability through html, css, php, mysql and various content management systems. Primary focus is online design/development with a heavy emphasis on multi-user managed content.

    Advisory Board Member

    Shaun Chavis is Foods Editor at Oxmoor House. She was formerly a diet editor for Health Magazine. She founded the Foodie Book Club and the Food Blog South blogger conference.

    Ainsley is the Director of Digital Marketing at CNN.com. Accolades from her time at CNN.com include #1 interactive campaign in Ad Age/Creativity “Best of ‘08” and the Promax "Breakthrough" award for innovative marketing campaign.

    Emily is the founder and CEO of Magic City Media, which operates MagicCityPost.com and ShopBirmingham.com, among others. She is an expert in connecting small businesses with local consumers.

    Amanda is the Assistant VP of Community Health & Wellness at United Way of Central Alabama. She is committed to the causes of local food and healthy kids. Her experience includes marketing for Cooking Light and Jones Valley Urban Farm.
