Team

  • Founder and CEO

    Robert is an experienced medical device inventor, designer, and researcher. He holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto and has over 8 years start-up, high reliability, and medtech experience. His PhD research lab was in the Hospital for Sick Children where Robert mentored on several surgical instrument, sensor, and robotics projects with his thesis focused on the next generation of surgical instrument mechanisms.

  • Michael brings over 40 years of experience in the operations and quality system management of complex electronics products. He was part of the founding management at Canada’s largest electronics manufacturer, Celestica, and has subsequently helped to scale several hardware and software startups from a senior management role.

  • Strategic Business Development

    Angad adds 14 years of business development experience in the broader high reliability industry. He has both a strong Mechanical Engineering and business background. On engineering, he has acting as Production Manager at a specialties steels company and holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from UC Santa Barbara. On business, he has advised several deep technology companies and holds business degrees from Cornell and the U of Waterloo.

    PhD in Systems Engineering from the University of Waterloo focused on sensor design. 5 year of work experience in deep tech and defense sectors.
