Mr. Witas is a practicing attorney specializing in general corporate and litigation matters, while simultaneously serving in an executive management position for a large not-for-profit corporation. He has extensive business management experience, and has personally been involved in the startup, development, and management of a variety of small businesses

Dr. Applegate holds a PhD in Applied Physics and has completed postdoctoral appointments in the Center for Biomedical Engineering at the University of New Mexico, and the National Flow Cytometry Resource within the Bioscience Division of the Los Alamos National Laboratory. Dr. Applegate has worked with many biotechnology companies, as a founder of Rio Grande Cytometry and Sorting, LLC, and as a research scientist at Acoustic Biosystems, Inc.
