Is originally from Iceland. Studied Landscape Architecture in Collage and worked in that field for 15 years. Has been a farmer in Independence Valley for 13 years. Raises mostly sheep, but also cows, pigs, chickens and bees. Was determined to make a better living for herself and others in the valley. That is what this creamery is intended to do and at the same time providing high quality dairy products to the general public.

He is a third generation dairy farmer. Went to collage and studied electrical engineering with a minor in animal health and husbandry. Took over the family farm when his father passed away 20 years ago. Has won awards for his high quality milk 16 years in a row. Is the only one in that category. This award is only given to a handful of farmers in all of the Northwest. Is one of the most conscientious dairy farmers in our State.
