Walter has spent 25 years as an entrepreneur and in senior loyalty marketing positions, having worked with HBC, Sears, Kmart, ABIG, HFC, Amex, Allstate, JC Penney and other high profile firms. Of note, Walter developed and managed retail loyalty programs for Hudson’s Bay. He also was a key contributor to the original design team which built the first loyalty platform for Petro-Points, one of North America’s largest retail gas rewards programs.

As VP, Mutual Signal Corp, Read was on the team that launched a premier fiber-optic network. prior to its sale. Read understands the full life cycle of emerging companies, from raising capital, to managing dynamic growth, to executing an exit strategy.

As VP, XO Communications, he led the firm through unprecedented growth. At Verizon (AirTouch) he was the executive responsible for 300 sales & tech support employees. Read has an MBA from UCLA.
