Finrenes has patented a system and method for processing biomass to improve the efficiency of biogas and bio coal production. The technology enables the efficient use of a large variety of inputs, including lignocellulosic biomass.
A successful pilot of using the solution for biogas and bio coal production utilizing commercially available components was completed in 2017.
The business model is to licence the solution to industrial customers.
