FilmDoo is an online platform that intends to be the “Soundcloud meets iTunes”, helping to redefine the way people experience and engage with films from around the world. FilmDoo soft launched in early 2015 and now has close to over 1,400 films available in its catalogues with over 100 contracts in place with third party distributors, sales agents and film makers. FilmDoo is focused on developing an online global community of users who come together to discover, watch and share content through user engagement models such as incentivisation, gamification and other bespoke technology.

FilmDoo has a competitive advantage from having a diversified revenue stream with B2C revenue from film sales to users and B2B revenue from sales of content and data to third parties, data sales and revenue from emerging film makers.

    Co-founder

    Dual English and Australian qualified lawyer with over 7 years international and cross border legal experience, with a particular focus on private equity and venture capital. Prior to becoming a lawyer William spent over 3 years working in sales and marketing. Aside from various legal qualifications William is about to complete an MBA from Macquarie Graduate School of Management.

  • Co-founder

    Former management consultant with over 7 years of experience across digital strategy, business development, consultancy, project management and finance. Previous startup experience from co-founding an online retail business. Industry experience as consultant for FTSE 100 clients and as Analyst with Barclays Wealth. Graduated with a First and came first in class for MPhil in Management degree from Judge Business School, University of Cambridge.

    CTO

    Brings strong technical and IT project management skills. Ralph has been an advisor for several start-ups including Quickflick and Dreamstake. Senior IT manager with over 17 years experience in technology development, IT programme management and outsourcing management. Ralph has also worked on international web and system integration projects for Deloitte, Siemens and Reed Elsevier.

  • Head of Programming and Distribution

    Extensive film industry experience spanning ten years, most recently in publicity and acquisitions for pioneering independent film distributor Peccadillo Pictures. Programmed strands for the London Short Film Festival and Branchage. Writer and director of independent film Bruno & Earlene Go To Vegas, a film that premiered in 2013 at the East End Festival.

    Director of Orpheus Rising, a full length feature film currently in development. Established media technology consultant and industry speaker at various film events. Media production trainer and author, including Consultant Master Trainer for Adobe. Managing Director of 123 Training, a media training company to the broadcast and film industries.
