Company Summary
We create value-added natural food ingredients from fibrous waste materials utilizing our patented technology. Our team previously established Fiberstar as a high growth company (recognized three times by INC Magazine in their Inc5000 list of fastest growing companies in the US) and Citri-Fi as an ingredient in food and beverage applications in more than 50 countries. Now our spin-off company, BIO, is preparing to do the same with Modi-Fi.

President/CEOAs a fiber expert with an MBA, Brock developed and commercialized Citri-Fi in 2004 while employed at Fiberstar, Inc., which has grown to a substantial business and globally recognized product. In 2010, Fiberstar Bio-Ingredient Technologies was formed and Brock helped the company accomplish many milestones and already has developed new products that are being prepared for commercialization.

R&D EngineerAlex supports all R&D activities for the Company. Alex started in June 2011 when we were awarded with an SBIR-USDA Phase I grant. Alex has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota in Bioproducts and Biosystems Engineering with a minor in Chemistry.
