Company Summary
Fastned is building and exploiting a network of fast charging stations for electric vehicles. The company acquired 15-years concessions for 201 (out of 245) locations along the Dutch highways and 63 stations are already operational. Customers charge their EV with 50kW and pay for the electricity. Fastned gives the EV driver the freedom to go anywhere.
Currently expanding into Germany, the UK and Belgium.

Founder and CEOMichiel is Founder of Fastned and responsible for the day-to-day operations. He graduated from TU Delft in Mechanical Engineering and after several years of strategy consulting at AT Kearney he chose for the start-up Epyon that manufacturers fast-chargers. At Epyon, which was successfully sold to Swiss conglomerate ABB, he learned how to take a start-up and make it into a success.

FounderBart is an entrepreneur, investor, and Founder of Fastned. He studied history at the University of Utrecht and has an MBA of the Rotterdam School of Management. Bart founded a.o. the Dutch edition of the free newspaper Metro. Besides his involvement with Fastned, he is a director at investment firm Breesaap. As a non-executive director he was closely involved in the success of Epyon, the fast-charger manufacturer.
