Company Summary
Faromatics develops smart robotics for livestock farms. We assist farmers in
detecting animal needs as quickly as possible through real-time monitoring, and
help improving animal welfare and farm productivity at the same time.
We use sensors, artificial intelligence and big data to create new insights for farm management. We currently concentrate on poultry farms. Through the use of our technology, farmers can double their net income.

Heiner is a recognised expert in Precision Livestock Farming and traceability. Heiner is also an entrepreneur, having co-founded Syntesa Partners and Associates in 2012 and INKUBIK in 2013. In the past, Heiner has worked with UN agencies and the EU on competitiveness of the primary sector and has developed software solutions for livestock management. Heiner holds a Dr rer nat degree (summa cum laude).

Has long been involved in start-ups globally including Berlin, London, Los Angeles, and São Paulo. He has held positions as CFO, advisor, investor and co-founder and has experience in B2B and B2C. Francois also has experience with multinationals such as EDS, TELEFLEX, and TLC Beatrice FOOD, holding positions of VP finance and regional controller. Francois graduated from the University of Louvain as a commercial engineer.
