Company Summary
We make mouthwatering truffles and almond pralines with dark chocolate sourced from Venezuelan Criollo beans out of our licensed home kitchen. We want to set up a retail location where we'll sell really delicious chocolate, wine, coffee drinks, & gelato to gourmand Vermonters & tourists that pack in knowledge and enjoyment by highlighting and celebrating the real and important people, places, and processes behind the products we make and sell.

In addition to graduating from the New England Culinary Institute in 2001, LaBounty--a native of Randolph, VT--has produced truffles and pralines since 1998, commercially under the name Farmhouse Truffles since March, 2003, and has held numerous positions in the culinary industry, in Vermont, Alaska, New York, and Italy.

La Rocca, LaBounty's wife & business partner, boasts several years’ experience in the food, wine, and tourism sectors, having associate- and management-level positions in Massachusetts, Vermont, Italy, and France after graduating with a B.A. in Italian Language and Literature from Smith College in 2007.
