Company Summary
We manufacture, and sell a patented solution for lifting patients at a trauma scene from ground to gurney or for carrying immobilized patients up or down stairs. The EZ LIFT Rescue System improves the ergonomics of the patient lift with handles that extend from the board for lifting and retract when not in use. This allows Rescuers to lift from a safer position, reducing injuries and extending careers.

Dr. Robert Heck is the Founder of EZ LIFT Rescue Systems. He currently practices Emergency Medicine at Intermountain Health Care’s Premier Medical Center in Murray, Utah. He was co-founder and partner of MediTech, Inc from 2004 through 2011 which designed, manufactured, and marketed EMS products - the Backraft, the MCI Manikins, a patient moving tarp, as well as backboard lifting handles. He holds three issued patents and five pending patents.
