EyeVerify enables mobile users to authorize transactions and access information in a manner that is secure, scalable and convenient. We are doing so through a patented technique called eye vein biometrics. This approach uses off the shelf cameras, even those camera on cell phones, to image and pattern match the blood vessels in the whites of the eye.

  • Toby Rush
    CEO

    Prior to EyeVerify, Toby co-founded and was CEO of Rush Tracking, an RFID solutions venture. He grew it from 2 to 75 people. He raised two rounds of funding and then was acquired by Pharos Capital, a Private Equity firm. While with Pharos Capitol, he acquired 2 companies to consolidate the "Smart Forklift" sensor and software space. Prior to Rush Tracking, he led the product development & QA for SAT Corp, a venture funded mobile software company.

    VP of Engineering

    Jeremy has over 10 years experience leading large product development and delivery engagements. Before EyeVerify, Jeremy led the product management across all 3 product divisions for TotalTrax. During his time with Rush Tracking Systems he was responsible for launching VisibleEdge and Orchestrator product lines. He also has extensive customer and account management experience for Fortune 1000 companies.

  • Reza Derakhshani
    Chief Science Officer

    Dr. Derakhshani, an Associate Professor at UMKC, is an expert in machine learning, computational imaging, digital image processing, and signal analysis with applications in biometrics and biomedical engineering. He is the director of UMKC`s Computational Intelligence and Bio-Identification Technologies Lab. In addition to being the inventor and patent hold on eye vein biometrics, he has extensive experience in other biometric modalities.

    Chief Software Architect

    Casey has 17 years of commercial and military experience with imaging and machine-learning solutions for satellite surveillance, identification, inspection, target tracking, video character recognition, decision-support data systems, automation document capture, and robotic guidance. He has architected and developed technology for the Army, Navy, NASA, and the private sector.
