Matthew studied business a lot in his childhood but went on to study psychology with the intent to better understand marketing. Matthew earned a Master's degree in psychology in 2010 but was unable to raise the funding to start a business venture, therefore he became a certified Massage Therapist and was licensed in the state of Connecticut. Matthew started and ran a student massage clinic and learned the challenges and joys of entrepreneurship.

Michael was an officer of and/or partner in several major investment firms including Moran & Associates, Vilas Fischer, Sogen-Swiss and C.J. Lawrence. Early in his career he was a CPA and he has also served as the Chief Financial Officer of three private companies. Michael earned his M.B.A in Finance from the Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and holds a B.S. in Social Science and Economics from Manhattan College.
