Many drugs are in short supply and >$3 billion of expired drugs are sent back to the manufacturer each year. Drug shortages and excess inventory cost pharmacies up to $250k per year . ExchangeMeds reduces costs to pharmacies and the environment.

Anand holds a Master of Science degree in industrial pharmacy from the Arnold & Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy at Long Island University and an MBA from the John Sperling School of Business at University of Phoenix.
