In 2005 he joined Wind Tower Systems (WTS), a new technology wind turbine tower company, to drive commercialization and fundraising efforts. He secured $4.1 million from Element Partners, a leading VC firm, and drove commercial discussions which culminated in the sale of the technology to GE.

    Michael Harnedy (VP Sales and Marketing) has been a sales leader for technical products in large companies and start-ups for over 20 years. He has a keen grasp of market players and dynamics, particularly in industries with complex distribution and contractor value chains (like solar). Mr. Harnedy holds a BSME degree from California State Polytechnic University in Pomona.
