Karen Stone is the consummate sales and business development professional with expertise in developing new and existing businesses, managing sales, marketing, training and team building. With over 20 years of experience in wholesale & retail, spa, salon, department store, specialty, gift, B2B sales management, Karen has captured major national accounts including Bed, Bath, & Beyond, Bloomingdales, Macy’s, Saks, GNC, Ulta and top spa accounts.

Prior to joining ESSIO, Ben served as Director of Finance and a founding member of Clearband, a start-up wireless broadband firm. During his tenure, he raised over $50 million in capital. Ben earned his MBA from Cornell University’s Johnson School of Management and his BA in Economics from The Johns Hopkins University.

Peter graduated Phi Beta Kappa, Summa Cum Laude from Brown University in 2006. He received his MBA from UCLA Anderson in 2013, where he served as President of the Entrepreneur Association and was awarded the Larry Wolfen Entrepreneurial Spirit Award. Previously, Peter worked in business development and marketing for Amazon's cutting edge digital media storefront. During his time at Amazon, Peter oversaw multiple successful product launches.

Dr. Nils Friis is the inventor of the ESSIO Shower Device. He received a PhD in chemical engineering from the Technical University of Denmark in 1973 and an Executive MBA from Columbia School of Business in 1986. During his career Dr. Friis has worked in research and business development, and is the recipient of five patents, which have generated in excess of one billion dollars in royalty income.
