He was founder of a Clinical Veterinary Hospital 13 years ago. He founded a spin-off in the Research Park of the UAB in 2008. Was finalist of the First National Award Young Innovative Company 2009. He had a grant for a collaborative health information and research project funded by FECYT. He also worked on a project of global health and the team has received an award from PAHO. He has been speaker and have scientific papers and book´s chapter

He studied Business Management in UK, and an MBA in Management and Leadership of Science and Innovation at the UPF. Attending the Marketing Management Programme in Esade. Expert in Healthcare Innovation, he works for a pharmaceutical company in Germany. In 2011 he won the “UPF-shop project”. In 2012 he co-founded the Alumni of the Master. With his master thesis was finalist of a contest in entrepreneurship ideated by the Foundation Banc Sabadell

He holds a PHD in Computer Science. He is working part-time at Norut a Norwegian Research Centre. He has published in leading journals; The Lancet, JMIR, BMJ. He is the elected chairman of the Health Social Medial Working Group (International Medical Informatics Association). He has been involved in reviewing research grants and master thesis. He is the founding member and academic chair of Salud 2.0 Euskadi and Co-Founder of Salumedia
