Before co-founding Entrepy, Bret was an Assistant Professor of Management and Entrepreneurship at the University of Colorado in Boulder. He directed and oversaw CU's venture fund that invests in startups in the Denver-Boulder area and he still serves as an advisor and board member for a handful of local organizations. Bret is interested both personally and professionally in the intersection of cybersecurity, education and technology.

Before co-founding Entrepy, Alex Kreilein was Technology Policy Strategist at the Department of Homeland Security and a Guest Researcher to the National Institute of Standards & Technology in Boulder, CO. His work included implementing leading-edge cybersecurity and risk analysis programs in support of national-level efforts. He has an extensive background in telecommunications and network security strategy and is the MD of CU's venture fund.
