Company Summary
EntoGenetics has pioneered new technology to mass produce spider silk using genetically engineered silkworms. Spider silk is the toughest natural fiber known, so the ability to mass produce it at a cost of everyday silk is a breakthrough in textile engineering. We are in the final stages of developing our process and then will start fabric development and testing. Independent testing has already confirmed a toughness factor 3x higher than Kevlar
