Engym has developed a clean technology that, when applied to any internal combustion engine reduces fuel consumption by up to 14% and cuts particulate emissions by 86%. The technology tackles problems with fuel contamination. Rising fuel costs and increasingly stringent environmental considerations makes the technology attractive to a wide range of users including light commercial and heavy goods fleet owners, generator and plant hire companies.

    Engym Chairman. He has a wealth of experience in a range of commercial environments and has managed and Chaired SME's for over 40 years. For services to that community he was awarded an OBE in 2011. He is presently Chairman/NXD of 4 technology companies and has led funding rounds of over £40m for Scottish companies. He has also been involved in several exits including Scotlab, Genesys and MTL.

    Owen is one of the founder members of Engym and is a highly experienced and respected businessman with a proven track record of developing businesses from inception. He has 30 years experience in industry in various roles and is currently MD of CVD Fire Protection Ltd. His business acumen has been recognised with various awards including Entrepreneur of the Year.

    Stephen is one of the co founders of Engym and is the main inspiration behind the technology. He has over 30 years automotive industry experience, delivering technical expertise, providing solutions and offering and key operational skills including project management. He has a record of consistently strengthening customer relationships, developing new business and achieving a strong record of training, including Ford’s Master status.

    Charlene O’Connor brings a wide range of experience from both the private and public sectors. With a degree in Biological Sciences and a Masters degree, Charlene worked within the pharmaceuticals sector.
    She has held various senior management positions within Scottish Enterprise from Director in Edinburgh to Chief Executive of Scottish Enterprise Forth Valley. From there she was appointed as a senior director at Scottish Enterprise National. Ch

  • Doug Greenhalgh
    Professor

    Professor Greenhalgh is Executive Dean and Pro Vice Chancellor of Glasgow Caledonian University. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Physics, Chartered Physicist, Chartered Engineer and Member of the Combustion Institute. He is also the UK representative to the IEA’s international programme on Energy Conservation and Emissions Reduction. He has worked with companies such as Rolls Royce on the development of spray and fuel injection technology.
