Additionally, is involved in his family business, as External Director in several companies, and as investor or entrepreneur in nascent and young businesses. MBA at IESA (Heinz Award in finance) and Industrial Engineer at UCAB, both in Caracas, Venezuela.

  • Creator of APSE, Director of R&D

    Founder and senior partner of Engeenuity, has been involved for decades in R&D with photonics, until the development of the APSE portable screens and valves. In USA received a Green Card for "extraordinary ability" due to that. Previously, his professional activities were around investments, securities brokerage, and new businesses. Bachelor Degree in Engineering from State University of New York, USA. Member of the Rotary Club South Panama.

  • Julio Lavergne, PhD
    Scientific Director

    Joined the Engeenuity team once retired as a researcher and academic professor in the School of Medicine of the University of Puerto Rico, with a prolific career in immunology, microbiology and clinical chemistry. Holds a BS in Microbiology and Clinical Chemistry (UCR, Costa Rica) and a PhD in Biomedical Sciences (Immunology and Microbiology) at UTSA, Texas, USA, and is a member of the Rotary Club South Panama.
