Hal Emalfarb attended the University of Iowa and afterwards received a law degree at Loyola University School of Law (J.D.1977). Hal is a successful industrialist extending sustainable Smart Grid applications by commercializing economically lucrative business models. He has experience in the clean tech industry, co founding CarbonDay and forming multiple partnerships throughout the industry

Tom has been serving as a director of the City Cottage Group, a Chicago based full service construction management firm specializing in green energy solutions, construction and finishing products for new and existing residential and commercial property development. Tom also serves on the board of directors of Info.com, a large Internet search engine. Tom has had a successful career in finance, serving on the board of the Chicago Stock Exchange.
