EMPEQ’s SaaS product captures and digitizes data in the built environment.     A veteran of the industry, Derek performed on-site energy audits and built energy models for >$250M in energy efficiency projects as CFO of an energy efficiency design-builder. He is the former product manager of a $350M credit card portfolio for a top-25 US Bank. A Cornell MBA and member of the Mohawk Nation of Indians, Derek has had an 18-year career in finance. Derek is charged with process, procedure, and execution of the company's vision.

    Former chair of the Northeast Clean Heat and Power Initiative and a three-time CEO, Herbert has felt the pain we are solving firsthand while conducting over 300 site energy audits. He has experience leading energy-services contracting firms and sales teams of up to 80 individuals. A Cornell MBA and US Marine / NSA cryptanalyst, he has founded or co-founded four companies. Herbert owns the vision for the company and the Fast Site Survey product.
