In Private Practice since '96, Lindell envisioned a “smart” system allowing clinicians time to care for their patients. In 2009 she established RFIs, selected third party vendors, negotiated and executed multiple contracts to establish the business. May 2010, Empathic opened its doors to the country. Today it enjoys a service team from MN to TX to Boston with revenue, minimal debt and recognition from multiple industry, thought leaders.

Ted's role at Empathic is Chief Information Security Officer. He holds CISSP certification, and has expected a broad range of skills in the field of information security, from security policy development and management to the technical understanding of security architecture and controls. He served in the role of CIO for United Health, OPTUM Nurse Help Line. He is owner of InfoSec Advisors (Information Security Advisors).
