Dr Phil Valencia is Founder and CEO of Embeint, redefining how intelligence is built and deployed on ultra-low power IoT. Formerly leading the Embedded Intelligence Team at CSIRO’s Data61, he oversaw multi-million-dollar programmes and engaged multinational partners. With 20 years’ expertise in ultra-low-power IoT, he has been recognised with CSIRO’s Julius Career and Entrepreneurship Awards, helping commercialise A$50M+ of tech.

Jace has 7+ years of experience in the IoT field, from initially developing embedded firmware to being a seasoned cloud developer with extensive experience developing highly efficient backends that are ideal for dealing with the challenges of time series IoT sensor data. Jace Holds a BE (Electrical & Computer) from the University of Queensland and has led numerous IoT projects for commercial customers.

Karl Von Richter is an IoT solutions engineer and is highly experienced in working with teams to create ultra-low power intelligent IoT solutions. While his primary focus lies in IoT solution architecture design, he can also use his skills to develop full-stack applications from embedded firmware and hardware design to mobile, edge, and cloud applications.
Karl holds a BE/ME (Honours) QUT Brisbane, Australia

Jordan leads embedded systems engineering and development of the ultra-low-power Infuse-IoT Stack, leveraging his 7 years experience as at CSIRO’s Data61.

Jordan is a maintainer and regular contributor to the open source Zephyr Project (an embedded RTOS by the Linux Foundation) and is responsible for their LoRaWAN and CMSIS-NN subsystems and actively collaborates on other subsystems.

Jordan holds a BE/ME (Honours) UQ and a M.Sc. TU Munich.
