Company Summary
Elphi began as an idea to automate an espresso machine. Starting with a simple Arduino prototype and off the shelf parts from Digikey, the system has evolved since its inception into a project to bring the full potential of 21st century technology to everyday life. Now, Elphi offers a smart appliance focused internet of things platform, from smartphone apps to server to firmware and hardware design.

Cameron ColpittsCEO
Cameron Colpitts has a BS and MS in Electrical Engineering from Brown and the University of Washington, respectively. Prior to grad school, he tested missile tracking algorithms for Raytheon. Afterwards, he worked as a business consultant, working on tech projects in his free time. Since leaving business consulting in mid 2011, he has been working on Elphi. He is responsible for firmware, hardware design, managing partnerships and sales.

Nicolas FlaccoCTO
Nicolas Flacco has an BA in Math from Claremont McKenna College and an MA in Computational Linguistics from the University of Washington. He has worked as a software engineer at TSRI writing computer language translation systems and most recently at AT&T Interactive, working on core search functionality for the Yellowpages.com search engine. Nico wrote the initial iPhone app and is building the Elphi cloud service.
