Company Summary

ElektroSense is a start-up company that designs and markets cancer screening devices with a novel technological process. Our introductory is an oral cancer detection device. It allows dentists to accurately and rapidly test oral lesions for cancerous. Early detection improves the probability of patient survival and shortens patient recovery time. Our novel microfluidics technology will to revolutionize cancer screening methods.

    The business segment of ElektroSense is currently managed by James Melvin. He is a senior, graduating with B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University. His focus is on the clinical aspects of the project as well as the commercialization of medical devices.

  • Justine Yu

    Justine Yu is a junior at Johns Hopkins University, working towards a B.S in Biomedical Engineering. She specializes in microfluidic devices design and fabrication. She has been part of the main fabrication group for OralCheck. Her previous work includes the design and testing of prototypes for the study of cell-cell interactions, signal transduction, and improved drug delivery techniques.
